PROJECT
At Charis Farming, every project is an opportunity to create lasting value — for our investors, our farmers, and our community. From cassava cultivation to future crop diversification, we combine modern agricultural practices with community empowerment to deliver sustainable returns.
Cassava Expansion Project 2025
Our flagship project focuses on 40 acres of high-yield cassava, cultivated using improved farming techniques and timely interventions.
Current Status: 30 acres planted, with continuous hoeing, weeding, and replanting for areas with poor germination.
Goal: Complete planting by August and optimize crop maintenance for maximum yield.
Impact: Increased food security, steady returns for investors, and employment for local workers.
Future Projects
Future Crop Diversification Plan
We’re preparing to expand into maize and yam cultivation in the next planting cycle. This will help stabilize returns and reduce dependency on a single crop.
Planned Acreage: 100 acres (already 35 acres secured).
Focus: Land clearing, irrigation setup, and early preparation to maximize productivity.
Community Engagement Initiatives
We believe in giving back to the communities that make our work possible. Through training programs, we equip local farmers with modern techniques, access to better seedlings, and improved post-harvest practices.
